The Inspiration
As a child, I had the privilege of making pralines with my mom. I'd stir the pot while she added each delicious ingredient. I loved watching her spread butter across the countertop and pour that creamy, buttery pecan mixture to cool. Those moments were pure magic.
The Difference
While my mom made her pralines crunchy with a hard texture, I always preferred mine soft and creamy. So I tweaked her recipe and created something uniquely mine—pralines with a soft bite, incredibly creamy and buttery, loaded with pecans and a hint of real vanilla.
The Journey
Friends and businesses started requesting my pralines. That's when I knew it was time to start Southern Fixings Pralines in 2015. My husband supported me every step of the way, and together we've built something we're truly proud of.
