A MOTHERS INSPIRATION THANK YOU MOM!
SOUTHERN FIXINGS PRALINES -- Has been around since 2015 in stores that is. I started making pralines as a child with my mom. She would let me stir the pot while she added in all the delicious ingredients. I loved how she spread butter on the countertop and then poured that creamy buttery full of pecans mixture all over the countertop. I could never wait for the pecan candy to cool . My mom made her pecan candy crunchy with a hard texture. But I always liked my candy soft and creamy. So, I tweaked her recipe and came up with my very own pralines. Soft bite texture, very creamy and buttery, full of pecans with a hint of real vanilla. I started getting request from friends and businesses that's when I decided to start Southern Fixings Pralines. My husband supported me every step of the way it was when I actually showed him how much pralines where being made every Saturday, we spoke a lot about me quitting my fulltime job as a salary manager of a fortune 500 company, until one day I did. God has blessed me ever since that day, I never had to look back. With the help and support my husband and children and the community really inspired me for this challenge. The love and support is what keeps me going.
